Description
We are providing COMPLETE disclosure for the fortunate individual, intelligent enough to realize what is being offered as a one time offering at a ridiculously low price. This engine and various attachments have less than 3500 miles. The Fine Tuned S&S Engine has a value alone of 8,000 – 9,000. The work has been done, all that is left is the thrill and enjoyment.
——————————————————————————-
This engine was purchased new from S & S, through and dyno tuned by, the premier S & S dealer in Kentucky, American at Large in Carrolton, KY, in 2013. The large S & S engine was installed by Suicidal Motorsports in Glendale, Kentucky, Installers and Builders of many motorcycle performance and race engines. It was further fine tuned in 2016 by one of the premier S & S Engine mechanics in the nation. Mr. Ken DeFrank, of DeFrank Motors in Shreveport, Louisiana. It now produces approx. 118 HP and 127 ft lbs of torque.
S & S Evolution-Big-Twin Engine 111 c.u.
At the same time as the engine install, the new seat was built for the bike by Advanced Custom Design in Lake Villa, Illinois. Bob at ACD has designed and built seats for big name sports figures and for the Shah of Saudi Arabia. This seat is constructed of fine Italian leather and has gel packs for long range comfort in both seating positions along with raised lettering and bead and lace work, ($3500). Also the ThunderHeader exhaust system, complete with heat shields, (over $1000) was installed. This is, in my opinion, is one of the best Harley 2 into 1 scavenging exhaust systems on the aftermarket and I have ran it for years with the stock engine. We also added a new hi-torque chrome starter, new alternator and new clutch to handle the increased power. There are many upgrades that were added over the years prior to this major engine change. Far too many to enumerate here, but I do have a list in addition to 5 or 6 file folders with every receipt for this bike.
Since these upgrades in 2013, I put on 1000 mile at severely reduced speeds for factory mandated break in, and then, possibly, an additional 1000 miles before medical difficulties forced me to stop riding. I have run it twice a year for 45 minutes since, in hopes I could get back on it.
This bike has ..ALWAYS.. received the best of care and the highest quality of upgrades since I have purchased it new in October of 1992. It has carried us across the desert, to the tops of mountains, and thru 34 states in sunshine, rain, and snow. It is like attempting to sell a member of the family.
THIS is a very Fast, Comfortable, Beautiful, piece of history that has never been stored outside.
(Harley just issued a press release stating that by 2027 all their product will be electric. This will appreciate in value!)
